It is a very truthful book about women's bodies. Could have been a little bit more extreme for me example the cellulite picture. I would've really liked to see more emphisis on that issue being someone who suffers from it. Everything else was very reasurring and good to know. I really liked the medical views also. Adults are self conscoius of their bodies too, and do not necessarily know everything there is to know! I have reccommended it to mothers who have asked me how they can address their daughters' body insecurities or hygiene issues. I've brought the book out when patients have asked me embarassing questions about the appearance of their bodies. It celebrates normal and shows young women what normal is, rather than the idealized normal that the media or textbooks shows them.
