Editorial Review: Glycolic Acid is a superficial peeling agent that is made from sugar cane. It is often considered the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA). With repetitive and continuous use, improvement to skin tone and texture occurs. Once inside the skin's cell, glycolic acid will serve as a catalyst for the formation of new collagen which will reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the skin's surface. Glycolic acid has been proven to be very effective in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, melasma, actinic keratosis, acne, and oily skin, as well as other cosmetic uses. Our kit provides you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of professional results at home, for a fraction of the cost. What You Can Expect Several layers of surface skin will be exfoliated very quickly... within 10-12 minutes. There is no noticeable peeling, just a sloughing action that will leave your skin feeling smooth and looking refreshed. The dry, dead, glued-together surface sebum that makes skin look dull and clogs pores, will be dissolved and removed. With continued use as directed the skin will look more youthful and vibrant.

5I love my Clarisonic!, 2008-10-16
For months every time I went into Sephora I would check out the ultrasonic, I read excellent reviews on it, but as a poor college student I didn't feel I could afford the $150 for it. The sephora sales associate came up to me and said I could try it and if I didn't like it I could return it. Now knowing that I could get my money back if I didn't like it I decided to buy it, and I LOVE IT!!! It makes my skin feel super smooth, and my acne has cleared up. I highly recommend this also little gizmo!

1Not for everyone., 2008-09-27
I have super oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. This actually irritated it (even with the delicate brush) and caused me to break out even more. After a month and a half, I sold mine on eBay. I'm glad I satisfied my curiosity though. Oh well. It's a great product, just not for me. I'm having more luck with just using the Sensiclear Acne System.

5Part of my daily beauty routine, 2008-09-17
I first saw Clarisonic on Oprah's favorite things and I said to my husband "I want one of those for Christmas!" but it is not available for purchase where I live so I quickly put it to the back of my mind. Then last week, I was in Florida and was on my way out of Dillards when there it was on a shelf for purchase. I saw the price tag of $199 and felt a little sick but then the sales lady came over - don't they always! - and demonstrated to me on her face how it works. I got really excited because I love taking care of my skin. It's one of my simple pleasures in life at 36 years old.

I've been using it for a little over a week now, twice daily, morning and evening, and I love it! It's easy to use and you just know it's working because your skin will glow and your face will feel clean but not tight. I must stress the importance of using a gentle cleanser though or I can't promise that your skin will look its best, no matter what you do. I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. If in doubt of what constitutes as a gentle cleanser, get to know Paula Begoun and her famous book "Don't go to the cosmetics counter without me".

The best part I've noticed is that the little pimples, lumps and bumps under the surface of my skin in the chin area are virtually gone! I used to pay $90+ per month on a facial to get that same result. I feel confident that with regular use you will have beautiful skin too!

PS. I also use it twice daily on my neck and chest area and it works fabulously!

5Don't leave home without it!, 2008-08-27
I'm 38 years old and have had my Clarisonic for 3 months now. I love it! My skin looks and feels as it would after a microdermabrasion, but I get that feeling every day instead of a few times a month. I love that I can use any type of non-abrasive cleanser to address my facial needs. I am currently using a vitamin C-infused cleanser in the am. and a salicylic acid one in the pm. I recently traveled for a week and thought I would leave my clarisonic at home because I wanted to "travel light". Mistake! My complexion dulled and pores clogged-- not the way you want to look on vacation. It's worth the investment- your skin will pay dividends every day.
