Good product...lousy container, 2008-09-05Product works very well and I have used it for years. However they changed to a squeeze type tube instead of the barrel shaped container probably to save money on plastic. The product dryed the cheap plastic from inside so i squeezed it and tube actually broke at seam shooting the stuff up on my face so lots of it is now wasted and tube is useless. If you have the old barrel shaped containers still, I would transfer product to that container because it will last longer. Plus now that its in a tube when the supply gets low you cant see inside to see whats left when supply gets low. You will only have a small little hole that you cant see in.
So product very good...packaging sucks and may result in wasting the amount you may be able to use if your not very carefull.

The only product that got rid of my ACNE! comments on The Good, The Bad, and The Better, 2008-06-08The Good Things:
I had acne for several years and during that time, I tried every single product imaginable, both over-the-counter and prescription. When it was time to try Oxy, I was so used to products not working that I actually didn't notice at first that it removed my acne entirely! Now, 5 years later, I still use Oxy and it still keeps my face clear. It strikes me as strange that Oxy would work in particular, since there is nothing special about Benzoyl Peroxide in an acne treatment, but perhaps it's the amount.
The Bad Things:
This oxy doesn't seem to work as well as the old one (not to say it doesn't work). Since the active ingredient is the same though, I try not to put too much merit in this. My only real complaint about Oxy is that it leaves my nose red sometimes. I don't sun burn (ever), so I don't know if it's a case of Oxy making me more sensitive to the sun or me just reacting to it. That's primarily why I gave it 4 stars. Also, even though the tinted oxy is supposedly good for "covering up," I have NEVER found this useful because the rest of your face is not just one, flat tone, so the Oxy is blaringly obvious. I only wear it at night.
ALSO- BEWARE the unforgivable damage it can do to your clothes, pillow cases, etc! I HIGHLY recommend using a shirt and pillowcase you don't mind messing up when wearing Oxy. Oxy seems to bleach material it comes in contact with and the damage is irreparable.
But Even Better Than Oxy:
I know this is irrelevant, but I have to add that the greatest successes I've seen when it comes to acne have been with people who went to naturalist doctors, and I've recently started using natural treatments to maintain my clear face as well. I really wish I would have thought of that years ago, instead of trying product after product. I know there is skepticism surrounding natural medicine, but in certain areas it is the medicine that prevails; and it seems acne is one of them. But until you seize that option- try Oxy!

works great for african americans, 2008-06-01I have found that the tinted formula works best for my skin the shades a little light but it works great!

OXY spot treatment, 2008-02-28Oxy spot treatment seems to have replaced OXY 10 tinted.
The new OXY spot treatment does help hide the blemishes although not as well as the original Oxy 10 tinted. The tube is not as good as the bottle
and leaves product that is un reachable in the tube. My biggest dissapointment with this product is the strong smell of the product.
It actually stinks and the smell sticks with you. I never noticed that with oxy 10. The other option clearasil tint has a strong perfume smell.
